As a person with multiple dietary restrictions, I know firsthand the struggle to find good quality, reasonably priced foods that accommodate me. I’ve been cooking my whole life and have spent many years perfecting various original recipes in the hopes they’ll make it into the homes of other people like me.

I specialize in gluten free and vegan foods, but can also accommodate restrictions such as soy free, corn free, nut free, etc. I strive to make as many people feel represented in the world of specialty foods as possible.

About the founder

Hello! My name is Alex McCarthy. I’m a Californian in my early twenties with a passion for the worlds of art and food. For years I’ve been thinking about the direction life will steer me in, and the role that food and art will play in doing so. Ultimately, I chose to leave the rigorous academic environment I was immersed in at Willamette University in an attempt to realize my priorities and take the time to execute them. In early 2021 I launched an Etsy site selling my sculptures, and its success and the happiness it brought my customers and I inspired me to do the same with my food business, Tarragon Galley.
